Vertical Data Integration
Pesce has designed, installed and commissioned
several systems where the accuracy and reliability
data extracted from the control system is critical
in monitoring plant performance and estimating maintenance
requirements. Data from a range of sources is collated
by the control system and then issued to the production
database when appropriate. These systems can also include
the downloading of production parameters into the control
system.

Systems
Pesce engineers have over 10 years experience developing SCADA and operator
interface systems for a wide range of clients in diverse industries.
These systems are based on standard elements, for ease of modification
and are designed to be intuitive to use with important data and work
flows standing out from the background. Most modern plant operators spend
a significant amount of time each day using such a system. Pesce has
developed an awareness of the techniques required to minimise eye fatigue
and critical errors in operator actions. We have specialised in Citect's
suite of products and use this in-depth knowledge to tailor our solutions
to our clients specific needs while still maintaining system integrity
and a supported upgrade path.

RTU and PLC Configuration
Configuration and programming of the system's fundamental control hardware
goes hand-in-hand with SCADA and operator interface implementation.
Pesce has the attitude that the primary control equipment must be absolutely
reliable and needs to react in a timely and controlled manner to any
event within the plant. Pesce engineers are familiar with most PLC
programming methods (ladder, function block, SFC and statement list)
and have the experience to program with system performance in mind.
